What is a Thread Lift?

Thread Lift is a non surgical skin lifting treatment that involves insertion of a special bio-compatible threads into the skin. These threads are specially designed to anchor the skin and lift it upwards. It visibly lifts loose skin and sagging facial contours to achieve a more lifted, firm and defined appearance. This treatment provides instant rejuvenation and also stimulates new collagen giving you a more youthful look and it further diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Who performs the Thread Lift?

The treatment is carried out by our Dr who is qualified and trained to perform the procedure and is LCP Certified as well

How long do the results usually last for?

This varies depending on the patient’s age at the time of treatment, the quality of the skin, degree of sagging and the number of threads used. However, studies have shown that results can last between 1-1.5 years based on lifestyle.

Is Thread Lift painful?

To ease any sort of discomfort, we will apply numbing cream on to the area to be treated or inject local anaesthesia.

Which areas are most effectively treated with Threads?

For the face, areas such as eyebrows, naso-labial folds marionette lines, cheeks, jawline and double chins can be treated.

When do you see results with Thread Lift?

There is an immediate improvement seen after treatments with a visible lift in the areas treated. This will improve over a period of 2-6months as new collagen grows between the threads and gives further lift and tightening to the skin. The threads gradually dissolve over about 6 months, but the resulting lift remains

Are there any side effects with the Thread Lift?

Thread lifting is a very safe procedure and complications are extremely rare. Minor side effects may include temporary swelling and bruising.
