A defined nose bridge and lifted cheeks, placed in one visit by a doctor at a licensed clinic. A non-surgical nose lift with fine dissolvable PDO threads, not surgery. Ninety minutes, then home, no week off, and a profile that photographs the way you thought it already did.

Why face and nose together

The nose sets the line. The cheeks hold it up.

A higher bridge on a face that has started to drop still looks tired. Lifted cheeks under a flat bridge still look flat. Done together, the nose and the cheeks read as one line. So the doctor plans both from the first sketch, in the same visit.

What actually gets lifted

Tap through the map. This is the plan the doctor draws on your face.

Two zones, two kinds of thread, one direction: up and forward. Each gold line is one thread on this side of the face, drawn in the direction it pulls. The threads themselves sit under the skin and are thinner than a hair.

01
8D nose threads · the bridge and the tip

Fine PDO threads placed along the bridge in a layered pattern, like scaffolding. The bridge reads higher and straighter from the side, the tip sits a touch more forward. The standard plan is four threads. For a limited time, bookings from this page get two more, so there is room to shape the tip as well as the bridge.

4 + (2) threads · about 30 minutes
02
Face threads · cheeks and mid-face

Barbed PDO threads, placed through a blunt cannula (a rounded tube, not a sharp needle), anchored above the cheek and drawn up and back. The cheek pad moves up, the fold beside the nose softens, and the jawline cleans up as a by-product. This is a lift, not a filler: nothing is added, tissue is repositioned.

4 threads, 2 each side · about 45 minutes
03
What the threads leave behind

The PDO threads only begin to dissolve from around month 9 to 12. Long before that, your own collagen has built along every thread path, which is why the result settles in over weeks and typically holds for 12 to 24 months.

Before and after

Drag the line. Then look at the line of the nose, and the line of the jaw.

The change is quiet. Most people say it reads as rested, not different. Friends ask if you changed your hair, or slept well, or found a better angle.

Three ways to book it

Do one. Do the other. Or do the thing this page exists for.

Every option is doctor-placed PDO threads at the same clinic with the same aftercare. The difference is what gets planned in the chair, and what it costs you to do both on separate days instead of one.

The visit, honestly

Ninety minutes. Here is where every one of them goes.

No sales chair, no pressure to add things. The doctor who plans your face is the doctor who places the threads.

A doctor and a patient looking at a side-profile photo together
Recovery, without the sugar-coating

Ninety minutes in the chair. Then straight back to your day.

Drag the timeline. This is what the next two years look like.

You go back to work, drive, meet people, put on makeup. For two weeks there are a few light rules: sleep on your back, skip facial massage and the gym, go easy on very wide expressions, no tight glasses on the nose. Then it is just a face that photographs well.

Anything on your mind in the first week, message the doctor directly. Small things are simple to sort early.

Before you book anywhere

Six questions to ask any clinic. Here are our answers.

Threads cost very little to buy and are easy to place badly. The difference between a face that looks rested and a face that looks pulled is entirely in the hands, the thread, and the plan. Ask these six and you will know within a minute whether to book.

01Who is actually placing the threads?

The single biggest variable. Knowing which direction to pull and how deep to place the thread is the whole craft, and it is not learnt in a weekend course.

At Westwood, a doctor plans and places every thread, start to finish. Not a nurse, not a beautician, not "the doctor comes in at the end".
02What thread, exactly?

Ask for the material and whether it is registered for use in Malaysia. If the answer is vague, so is the thread.

Medical-grade PDO (polydioxanone), the same material class used in surgical sutures for decades. It begins to dissolve from around month 9 to 12 and is fully absorbed by the body. Barbed threads for the cheek lift; for the nose, fine PDO threads placed in the 8D layered pattern along the bridge and tip.
03How do you decide how many threads I need?

A number quoted over WhatsApp before anyone has looked at your face is a guess. A low number quoted upfront is usually a small one that gets revised in the chair.

The doctor decides at the assessment, looking at you. This page is built around 4 face + 4 nose threads, plus the 2 extra for the tip while the offer runs, because that plan suits most faces we see. If yours needs something different, she tells you before anything is opened.
04What happens if something looks uneven afterwards?

Faces settle over the first week or two. What matters is whether anyone will look at it with you.

You have the doctor's WhatsApp for the first week, and a review visit is part of the plan. Anything that needs attention, the doctor handles early. You are not left to Google it.
05Is the clinic licensed, and can I see it?

Threads go under your skin. The room matters as much as the hands.

Westwood Clinic is a licensed aesthetic clinic with two Klang Valley outlets, PJ Midtown and Bukit Raja, Klang. Procedure rooms are clinical rooms, not a facial bed with the lights dimmed.
06Will you tell me if threads are wrong for me?

Heavy sagging, very thin skin, or a nose that needs structural change are not thread cases. A clinic that says yes to everyone is selling threads, not results.

Yes, and it happens. Some people leave the assessment with a different plan, some with no plan. Both are fine outcomes.

Is this for you

Not older. Just a sharper line in photos.

Most people who book the Profile Lift are between 28 and 45, look perfectly fine in photos, and want their side profile to match how they feel from the front. That is the right reason. Here is the honest version of who it suits.

A good fit
  • A bridge that reads flat or low from the side
  • Cheeks that have started to sit lower than they used to
  • A jawline that softens in photos
  • Want a visible change without surgery or fillers
  • Can keep two weeks of light rules
Better with another plan
  • Heavy sagging, where surgery is the honest answer
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Active skin infection or acne flare on the treatment area
  • Blood-thinning medication you cannot pause
  • Want a dramatic new nose shape
  • History of keloid scarring, or a known reaction to suture material
“
Does it hurt?

Numbing cream first, then local anaesthetic at each entry point. During placement most people describe pressure and a pulling feeling rather than pain. The nose is the more sensitive of the two zones and it is also the quicker one. Afterwards, a little tenderness at the entry points for a few days, the kind you only notice when you press on it.

Will people be able to tell?

They will notice you look well. Done conservatively, which is how we do it, the change reads as rested and sharper, not different. The "pulled" look you may have seen is a technique failure, not a feature of threads.

How long does it last?

The threads begin to dissolve from around month 9 to 12. The collagen they trigger holds the lift, typically 12 to 24 months, sometimes longer. Sun protection extends it; smoking shortens it. Many patients repeat around the two-year mark, some alternate with HIFU to maintain between.

Why not fillers for the nose?

Filler adds volume; threads reposition without adding volume, which is why a thread bridge reads sharper rather than bigger. Some noses suit a combination of the two; the doctor will say which.

What is the difference between this and HIFU?

HIFU tightens skin with energy, gradually. Threads reposition tissue directly, and you see it the same day. Early laxity often only needs HIFU; once tissue has genuinely dropped, threads do the moving. Many faces do both, sequenced by the doctor.

Can I do just the nose today and the face later?

Yes. Book 8D nose threads only at RM888. If you come back for the face within a reasonable window, ask the team about the Profile Lift rate; the two extra nose threads are only placed as part of the same-visit Profile Lift booked from this page, while the offer runs.

How soon can I be seen?

Usually within the week. The booking below lets you pick a day two or more days out so the team can confirm the doctor's slot. We are closed on Wednesdays.

Is there anything I should do before the visit?

Skip alcohol, aspirin, fish oil and vitamin E for 48 hours if you can. Come with a clean face. Eat something. Bring a photo of a side profile you like, yours or anyone's; it makes the mapping conversation faster.

Do I pay on the day?

Yes, at the clinic, after the doctor confirms the plan with you. There is nothing to pay to reserve the slot.

What it costs

One number. Nothing waiting for you at the counter.

RM1,588 covers the assessment, the mapping, the numbing, every thread in the plan, the aftercare card and the review. If the doctor advises fewer threads, you pay for the plan you actually receive.

About the two extra nose threads

The 2 extra threads let the doctor shape the tip as well as the bridge, which is the difference between a higher nose and a better profile. They are on for a limited time, and only for Profile Lift bookings made from this page. Walk-in and phone bookings run on the standard four.
